We will ship your order using the fastest, safest and most reliable method possible. Every product on our site has been carefully selected to ship by a particular shipping method to provide you with the quickest and the least expensive delivery service. When your order ships, we will notify you via email. Included in your email will be a tracking number for your shipment. We encourage you to track your package online. Most shipping providers can provide an estimated delivery date.
We charge a flat rate for all of our items. You will be able to see the shipping charge on your check out page, and it covers ground shipping within the continental United States. We won't surprise you with any handling charges or hidden fees. If you require expedited shipping, please contact us. Items ordered at the same time will not necessarily be delivered together.
Unique Designs By Sandi ships some items via FedEx SmartPost®, which utilizes the U.S. Postal Service for final delivery on a standard business day (Monday-Saturday, excluding federal holidays). The SmartPost shipping option means that FedEx will handle your package from us to your local U.S. post office and the U.S. postal service then completes the final delivery.
Unique Designs By Sandi will not be responsible for damage or loss that occurs to goods after they are delivered to the freight forwarder. This means that Unique Designs By Sandi is not able to provide a replacement of, or refund for, any goods delivered to a freight forwarder. You should instruct freight forwarders to refuse goods that arrive damaged, and goods lost after being received by the freight forwarder will be your responsibility.
You (or the freight forwarder if you so designate) become the exporter of the goods and are solely responsible for compliance with all export and import regulations, including all U.S. export regulations and the import regulations of the destination country. Unique Designs By Sandi must not be listed on any export or import documentation (e.g., import or export declarations, invoices, packing lists, etc.).
MULTIPLE ITEM ORDER
If you order multiple items in one order, please know that they may ship from different artists or vendors and not all will arrive in the same package.
HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE?
Products that are not personalized typically will take 2-4 days to process before being shipped. Our unique barware and glassware is hand etched and will take 8-10 days for production before being shipped. Since many of our products are customized just for you, the average turnaround is 5-14 business days plus ship time. The time you can expect your order to take is listed with each item. If you have a special date you need your gift by or if you would like to inquire about rush orders or expedited shipping, please contact us. The cost for rush orders varies by vendor and artisan so that we can advise you on a case by case basis. However, keep in mind if you place your order on the weekend or holiday, processing time begins the following business day.
SHIPPING OF GIFT BASKETS
Orders placed Monday through Saturday will ship out the following business day. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will ship on Monday.
Unique Designs By Sandi will make every effort to meet your delivery needs. Should the timing not work out using Standard Delivery (1-5 business days), we do have other shipping options available. These options include UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air and 3 Day Express. Not counting the day your gift basket is shipped - Next Day Air will arrive the Next Business Day, 2nd Day Air will arrive in 2 Business Days, 3 Day Express will arrive in 3 Business Days.
Future Delivery: You can order now and have it shipped later! During checkout there is a Special Instructions box, just enter the date you would like your order to be delivered.
We use UPS and FedEx for Standard shipping on gift baskets and will choose the carrier that gets your gift basket to its destination the quickest.
We will not guarantee delayed shipments that were caused due to an act of God like weather or a catastrophic event. Our guarantee is not valid if incorrect shipping information is given or if no one is available to sign for shipment when delivery attempt is made.
WINE GIFT BASKET SHIPPING
All gift baskets containing wine require a signature of an adult over the age of 21. Please keep this in mind when choosing where the gift basket will be delivered and calculating the delivery date. Our shipping carriers will make three attempts to deliver the gift before they return it.
Unique Designs By Sandi will not be responsible for gift baskets where an adult is not available to sign. We advise that you let the recipient know a gift is on its way.
No refund will be issued as a result of your gift basket containing wine being returned to us due to an adult over 21 not being available to sign for the delivery. However, if the gift basket is returned, we will be happy to reship it to another location for only the cost of shipping and handling.
Due to state restrictions, we cannot ship gift baskets containing wine to the following states:
CHOCOLATE IN WARM WEATHER
During warm weather months (typically May - September) the chocolates contained in gift baskets may be subject to melting. Items containing chocolate must be shipped Express (UPS Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air) to avoid melting. If you choose a method other than Next Day or 2nd Day, Unique Designs By Sandi will not be held responsible for damage when the melting occurs. If your gift recipient is not available at the time of delivery, we cannot be responsible for damage that occurs to those gifts having their delivery delayed or items delivered and left unattended in warm weather.
If you are shipping to a hospital, please be aware that gifts often are shipped to the receiving department and then need to be taken by hospital staff to the patient. We are not responsible for gift baskets becoming lost or misplaced once it is delivered to the hospital, failure of the hospital staff to deliver the gift to the patient's room or arriving after a patient has been released.
Please select UPS Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air if the recipient is expecting a short hospital stay. If you are unsure of how long your intended recipient will be in the hospital, please have the gift shipped to a recipient who can take the gift to the hospital or send it to their home.
CHANGE OF ADDRESS OR ADDRESS CORRECTIONS
Please provide us with an accurate and complete shipping address for your recipient. This information needs to include:
Name, Company Name (if applicable), Street Number and Street Name, Floor, Suite, or Apartment Number (if applicable), City, State, Postal Code and Telephone Number.
**We encourage you to verify the address with your recipient before you place your order as we are not responsible for gift baskets not delivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided.
CHARGES: There is a $15.00 address correction fee per gift basket to reroute a gift after it has left our warehouse. This includes changing the street number, adding an apartment or suite and correcting a postal code. The $15.00 fee is also charged if your gift recipient has moved, you have provided an improper address, or any package is refused or rerouted by the recipient. You will be notified via email regarding this address correction charge. Cancellations are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
